Huh? Are you talking about leaving Pre-Seared Ascalon which is what it sounds like... Once you leave pre-seared Ascalon you basically start working your way towards Ascension.... Pre-Seared Ascalon is kind of the training zone before you start to play the initial real game. I don't know what you are talking about with Henchmen because I played most of the game up through Ascension with just Henchie groups and made it.

You didn't miss anything important. Every single skill that you can get pre-searing can be obtained post-searing. You can get better items post-searing. You won't be able to do any of the pre-searing quests you missed, but they don't give very good rewards, so it isn't a big deal. Lvl6 is a good level to go post-searing at. Post-searing is more difficult than pre-searing is.

Here are some tips:
-Always venture out of town with a full party, either made of henchmen or people. If you find a particular mission or quest difficult, then ask someone if they want to help you with it. Make sure you have a healer at all times, either a player Monk, or Alesia.
-If you look at your minimap, you'll see a white circle around you. There are usually also red dots, representing enemies. Enemies won't attack you unless they get inside the white circle. "Pull" as few enemies as you can, otherwise you'll get mobbed and die.
-Make sure you're getting new skills, either from quests or at the skill trainer in town. Try out new combinations of skills and attributes to find something that works well.
-Make sure you get new armor from the Armor Crafters in town. You'll survive longer with it.
-If you want to advance in the story, then you can go on missions. The first mission is the Great Northern Wall, which you can find if you go far North-East inside Ascalon City. Once you finish it, you'll end up in the next mission area, Fort Ranik.

Good Luck!

I think you're fine. Level 6 is plenty in post-searing. It just takes some getting use to because things are much different in post-searing vs. pre-searing. Don't worry. You'll get the hang of things. Try partying up with real people. That might help and is usually a good experience.

Hello,

You're still in "training" area, once you accept his mission, you will no longer be able to complete any remaining quests that you have.

You can go ahead and do this, it doesn't really hurt you, but if you just want to experience the whole game, go ahead and complete your other missions first.

If you are having trouble with a henchman, try teaming up with a real person. They tend to be better. Besides, you have to team up to complete 2 of the missions in the "training" area. (One for the resurrection signet, and the other to get past the wall (one pulls lever, other runs through door)).

Take a good hard look at the countryside, though.... once you accept the mission, Ascalon will never look the same!!!

Never too early to leave Pre-Searing, most of the quests there are boring and worthless.

You could have stayed in pre-searing a lot longer. Based on what you've said you probably could have done quite a few more quests.

It will be difficult to get started at lvl 6 post-searing but not impossible. You need to work a little more on learning how to use henchmen and you should be fine.

I would also recommend you to get a belt pouch from the collector right next to the door "teleport" in Old Ascalon; if ir remember right he asks for 5 scales from the lizards in the river. It will be very handy in the beggining of post-searing.

Level 6 is fine to go through searing. If you are having trouble with quests, try taking it slower or finding real people to group with. I did most quests with henchmen as a monk, so you shouldn't have to much trouble. Make sure you always take the healer henchie with you. Make sure you are using a weapon with good damage on it also.

If all else fails and you really need help doing a quest or mission, contact me in game. If I am available, I would be happy to help you get through a few of them. My in game name is Azmo Gard.

Why did they remove the river drake? I loved killing that.

Off topic.

Good luck with post-searing.
